Our travel clinic offers advice and guidance for your travel plans. We provide all necessary immunisations and advice with regard to malaria prophylaxis. We are a registered Yellow Fever centre. The clinic is available to both our own patients and to patients from other surgeries.
If you are travelling and need advice and vaccination, please ask for a travel clinic questionnaire at reception or download the form . Ideally the form should be completed 10 weeks before travel so we can assess your requirements and book the vaccination schedule for you.
Once your travel requirements have been assessed, the practice nurse will contact you to book you in to the clinic. The Travel Clinic runs every Friday between 4pm and 6pm at Elvington Surgery.
Please note that you may have to pay for some vaccinations that are not available on the NHS. A full price list is available at reception. The practice also offers travel essentials such as first aid kit, sun-screen and malaria protection nets.
